PROJECT PAIN RELIEF
Project Pain Relief (PPR) was founded in 2012 by Dr. Andrea Trescot as a vehicle for providing pain education to physicians in the developing world. Multiple worldwide studies show that the prevalence of chronic pain can range from 10 to 50%, and for most of the world, there is no treatment available. In many countries, if a person cannot work because of pain, they cannot eat. Their pain can be life threatening.
However, the techniques of diagnosis and interventional treatment that Dr. Trescot has developed over the years can quickly and dramatically improve quality of life for patients in pain. Project Pain Relief supports pain training programs all over the world, so doctors can learn these techniques.
